The goal of the Justice Group is to affect change at church to make CLC become a more intentionally welcoming space that also affects change in the area. The group reaches out to council and other committees on issues of justice in the church, brainstorms and implements ways to be more active in local justice issues, selects books for congregation wide book studies, etc. The group focuses on multiple areas of justice (racial, LGBTQIA+, disability, voting rights, etc.).

 

This group provides a thoughtful space where we can put what we have learned from our book studies and beyond into meaningful practice. Look for updates on our work and events in the newsletter and on Sunday mornings.
